Lori was born and raised in the United States, where she earned her juris doctor degree at The Ohio State University College of Law in 1997. She is qualified to practice in the United States, England and Wales. 

In the US Lori practiced in federal civil litigation, working both as a client advocate and a judicial attorney for the United States federal courts. 

During her 15 years in London she has served as in-house counsel for global financial services firms such as Barclays and BlackRock, advising on asset/wealth management, investment funds, and international financial regulations. She has been the lead negotiator for some of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds and Fortune 500 corporations. 

She enjoys travel, hiking, skiing and cooking, and lives in London with her three children and dog.
