Yingke Cheng & Wong (Futian) Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as “Yingke Cheng & Wong”) is a Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao joint law firm jointly initiated and established by Yingke Law Firm and Cheng & Wong Solicitors, which are based in Beijing and Hong Kong, respectively. The new law firm was approved by the Department of Justice, Guangdong on June 21, 2023 to be established at Kerry Plaza, No. 1 Central Fourth Road, Futian District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province.

Yingke Law Firm, one of the two initiators of Yingke Cheng & Wong, was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Beijing, China. Yingke Law Firm is the co-founder of the Global Coalition of Think Tank Networks for South-South Cooperation, and ranked first among the Global 200 law firms by the total number of lawyers consecutively in 2022 and 2023. Yingke is committed to building a “Yingke Global Ecosystem of Legal Service Response within One Hour”, with 119 offices in the Chinese mainland by April 2024. Yingke’s global legal service network covers 190 cities of 100 countries around the world, including overseas offices in 42 cities of 31 countries and overseas cooperative law firms in 173 cities of 91 countries and regions.

The other initiator, Cheng & Wong Solicitors, is a large-scale professional law firm in Hong Kong which is committed to providing one-stop consulting services for enterprises in the mainland and Hong Kong of China. Since its establishment, it has been dedicated to serving small and medium-sized enterprises, providing them with superior and cost-effective legal services as well as a sophisticated risk management system, and helping them overcome the challenges of globalization, make their internationalization journey safer and smoother, balance investment opportunities and risk management, optimize their international brand images and obtain bigger market shares.

Focusing on the Greater Bay Area, it establishes links around the world. Yingke Cheng & Wong adheres to the decision jointly made by the Beijing headquarters of Yingke and Cheng & Wong Solicitors in Hong Kong for their strategic cooperation. Being committed to promoting the quality development of China’s foreign-related legal services, it aims to create a joint law firm with Shenzhen and Hong Kong as the core business area, and focus on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (the “Greater Bay Area”) while establishing links around the world.
